O Programa Meio Ambiente nas Escolas consiste em incentivar a Educação Ambiental, sensibilizando e mobilizando as comunidades escolares ao utilizar como ferramenta o descarte correto do óleo de cozinha usado, tornando as unidades escolares pontos de entrega voluntário – PEVs.

O apoio da Bunge se iniciou em 2016, por meio da iniciativa setorial Óleo Sustentável, e em 2021 passa a integrar diretamente o PMANE com o financiamento, via programa Soya Recicla, de um projeto piloto em São Vicente, que teve passou a abranger 55 escolas durante o ano de 2022 e segue num movimento de ampliação para atingir todas as unidades escolares municipais.
